Christmas Morning Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients:
1 loaf of specialty bread from Pottery House Café & Grille
(Cranberry Walnut, Cinnamon Raisin)
1 jar of Old Mill Pecan Honey Butter
(Any flavor. We use cranberry orange.)
8 oz. cream cheese softened
1 qt. eggnog

Directions:

Spread 1 piece of bread with thin layer of honey butter and 2nd piece with cream cheese. Assemble together as sandwich.* Slice in half. Dip in eggnog and brown on both sides in hot griddle or skillet with melted butter.


*Please note. Easier to spread if bread is frozen. Slices may be made ahead of time or night before and kept fresh in cellophane. Delicious quick Christmas morning breakfast served with fresh fruit compote.
